Students enrolled in Honors and AP courses at SHS are expected to have mastered certain topics to be prepared for these rigorous courses. In order to meet all the goals of these demanding courses, prerequisite skill mastery is expected. Review of material from past courses takes time, limiting opportunities for new learning. It is therefore stipulated that students must prepare adequately during the summer in anticipation of the start of the new academic year.
