Graduation Photos - Register now! Download info on pictures of graduates that Lifetouch will make available to you.
The personalized web address for Stonington High School Graduates to pre-register, order and view their images when available is: events.lifetouch.com/stoningtonhspawcatuckct
Students, parents and faculty may register any time prior to graduation to receive special pricing and discounts through this link! By pre-registering, the customer will be notified via email when images are available for viewing and ordering. Families can order using the proof sheets that are mailed home, or by using the online option that is provided to them via email once the proofs are available for viewing. They are also provided with a customer service email address and phone number to call in the event that they have ordering questions. Regardless of which link the customer uses, they will be able to search for and locate their event to place their orders.
Yearbook Claim Slips If you ordered a yearbook, be sure to get your yearbook claim slip from your homebase teacher onWednesday, May 22. Books are expected to arrive the first week of June. You will need a claim slip to pick up your yearbook the first distribution day.
Junior Meeting There will be a mandatory meeting of all juniors on Wednesday, May 22 in the auditorium. Lifetouch and Mrs. Rustici will present important information about having your senior portrait taken.
Cheerleading Anyone interested in Cheerleading for the Stonington High School "2013-2014" football, basketball, competition seasons need to sign up in the nurse's office. There will be a mandatory informational meeting on May 30th at 7:00pm at Stonington High School. You will need a physical and to be signed up with the nurse no later than May 31st. Try-out dates will be as follows: Place: S.H.S. gymnasium Dates: June 1st - 8:30am-12:00pm (Saturday) June 3rd - 4:30pm-8:00pm (Monday) June 4th - 4:30pm- until finished trying out (Tuesday) If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact: Head Coach - Natalie Lucy Assistant Coach - Bridget Gaccione**
Class of 2014 Senior Portraits Senior portraits for the Class of 2014 (current juniors) will be taken in the auditorium on June 4, 5, and 6th from 2-8 p.m. Appointment cards will be sent out.
NHS Tutoring Do you have questions on homework or class assignments? NHS is available for tutoring in the library every day except Wednesday in the Library. Any questions please see Mrs. Mueller, Emily Calobrisi, Amy Dugger or Lucy Schlink
There are NO yearbooks left for sale. We are SOLD OUT. The plant will often send extras in June, which would be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. We are not taking any more orders now.

  Ongoing General Announcements
Access to Grades Students and their parents/guardians now have 24/7 online access to the student's academic progress. Grades that have been entered by the teacher may be viewed at any time by going to the Academics tab and clicking on Power School. Enter your user name and password (mailed home.) Contact Mrs. Colschen in guidance if you do not have your password by progress report time. Please understand that this is to be used only as a guide to the grades, and that there will be no way of knowing if all work that has been turned in has been graded and entered by the teacher. Teachers are required to have grades up to date at progress report time and the end of each quarter. (See Marking Periods.) Final grades are determined by the teacher a few days after the end of each quarter. The Grade Point Average showing is the current average for Quarter 1, not the cumulative average.
Access may be blocked to those with accountabilities.
Donation Station Do you have items you no longer need or want? Perhaps some teacher could use them in his or her classroom. Check out our Donation Station for a listing of items teachers would like to have. You can even get a receipt for a tax deduction!

Get your pictures in the yearbook! The Yearbook Staff invites students and parents to submit photos for the yearbook. If you've got great photos of school and community events or you and your friends just having fun, we'd like to see them. Our photographers can't be everywhere. Help us get as many photos as possible to create a terrific book everyone will want to have. Here is how you can submit photos online:
• Go to: http://www.replayit.com/r/1069950/
• Click "Register"
• Under 'Name' type "Stonington High School" "Pawcatuck" "CT"
• Click "Continue"
• Enter password: "SHSbears1" (case sensitive) and register
• "Submit Pics."
• Select your images or upload from Facebook
• Enter information about the photo
• Click "Finish Tagging".
It's that easy! Submit your photos today! The last day to submit photos is 3/17/2013. Thank you, and enjoy the rest of the school year!
The Yearbook Staff will review all photos and determine final yearbook content. We cannot guarantee that all submissions can be used in the book.
