Mid-Quarter Progress Reports are available online to keep parents aware of academic progress during the first five weeks of each quarter. Report cards are also available online shortly after the close of each quarter. The benefits for you as parents are that you will be able to receive more detailed, more timely results than if the reports were mailed, and of course, there would be no chance of any problems with the mail. See report dates. Online Access to Student GradesParents and students have 24/7 access to student grades through the PowerSchool program. Having daily access to your child’s grades through PowerSchool is being provided to you as another form of communication with teachers and administration. However, even though you will be able to check grades 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week, please be advised that many assignments take considerable time to grade. Typically, grades will be posted as the assignments are returned to students. Please be patient if a grade has not been entered immediately after it was assigned. At progress report and report card dates, parents can expect the most current grades available in classes. Therefore, progress reports and report cards continue to be the most accurate indicator of your child’s academic progress. All families should have received a user name and password, which is used to access grades. If you did not receive your son/daughter’s password, please contact Mrs. Colschen at jcolschen@stoningtonschools.org. Please follow
the instructions below to access your child's progress report or report
card. ------------------------------------------------ Please send me a progress report/report card for (Child’s Name)_____________________ Parent/Guardian Signature ___________________________________ Date ____________________ |
